Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Sustainable Energy for All to launch the start of the United Nations Decade of Sustainable Energy for All (2014 – 2024)

Vienna, 3 February 2014 (Sustainable Energy for All) - United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Representative on Sustainable Energy for All and Chief Executive Officer of the Sustainable Energy for All Initiative will launch the Asia roll-out of the UN Decade of Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) in New Delhi, India. The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) unanimously declared 2014‑2024 as the Decade of Sustainable Energy for All, underscoring the importance of energy issues for sustainable development and for the elaboration of the post-2015 development agenda.
