International Renewable Energy Conference (IREC) acts as a common platform for government, private sector and civil society leaders to jointly address the goal of advancing renewable energy and has provided the impulse for several momentous initiatives over the past decade. REN21 is a lead international partner of the host country, and supports the host in planning and organizing the IREC.

The SEforALL delegation is led by Glenn Pearce-Oroz, Director of Policy and Programs, who will be a keynote speaker on Financing small-scale renewables as well as a high-level panelist. Ruchi Soni, Senior Energy Access Specialist, will join the panel discussion on Powering with renewables: mini-grids in a grid context. Hyejung Min, Energy Efficiency Consultant, will be a panelist on Clean Cooking.

SEforALL and the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE) are co-organizing a side-event on Public-Private Partnerships: the key to unlock the USD 220B mini-grids opportunity?, which will be moderated by Ruchi Soni. Glenn Pearce-Oroz will be a panelist at the Climate Implications of Access-to-Energy (Electricity) Endeavours event and a session moderator at the 7th Green Growth Knowledge Partnership Annual Conference, another side-event of IREC.
