Caroline McGregor

Caroline McGregor is from the United States and works as Lead Energy Access and Gender Specialist in the Washington, DC office. 

Caroline McGregor came to SEforALL from the US Department of Energy’s Office of International Affairs, where she managed US program and policy engagement under a variety of multilateral initiatives, including the 25-government Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) from its inception in 2010.

She spent her early career in the Russia policy arena, as a junior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, as a journalist in Russia for The Moscow Times and at Eurasia Group, a political-risk consulting firm.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in international relations from Wellesley College, spending her junior year at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Aix-en-Provence, France. She has a master’s degree in public administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.

In her downtime, she can typically be found curled up with a book or outdoors with her family.
