Lolade Abiola

Lolade Abiola is the Chief of Staff at Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL), where she oversees strategic planning, supports leadership operations and enables teams to deliver high-impact programmes across the organisation.

She has over 15 years of experience across the renewable energy, development, aviation and marine logistics sectors. She has played strategic roles in securing significant financial commitments toward Nigeria’s Energy Transition Plan and led efforts to align energy transition strategies with implementation, policy and financing
across public and private sectors. She has also supported national and regional initiatives in renewable energy manufacturing, electric mobility, and clean energy deployment.

Lolade also led the SEforAll secretariat and data analytics team, directly supporting Mission 300 partners, comprising of the World Bank Group, the African Development Bank, Rockefeller Foundation and the Global Energy alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP), all working towards providing electricity to 300 million Africans by 2030. 

She plays a key role in convening stakeholders, shaping partnerships, and supporting country-level implementation strategies under the initiative. She previously held leadership roles in Nigerian government, including the Office of the Vice President, Rural Electrification Agency, leading the mini-grid component under the World Bank funded Nigeria Electrification Project.
