At SEforALL, we help countries move beyond basic energy access towards energy systems that can power economic growth, job creation and sustainable development. Through policy support, technical expertise, partnerships and investment mobilization, we work with governments, development partners and communities to expand access to reliable, affordable and sustainable energy at the scale needed for people, businesses and public services to thrive.
A key part of this work is the Universal Energy Facility (UEF), our multi-donor results-based financing platform that helps accelerate the deployment of clean energy solutions across Sub-Saharan Africa. By supporting proven private-sector developers and rewarding verified results, the UEF is expanding access to electricity and clean cooking while unlocking investment, strengthening local economies and delivering lasting impact.
We help countries build the foundations for universal energy access by strengthening policy, regulatory and market conditions that attract private sector investment and unlock sustainable energy markets. Our work spans electrifying healthcare facilities, clean cooking in schools and other critical social infrastructure. Through comprehensive market assessments and national roadmaps, we facilitate stakeholder alignment and investment coordination.
By implementing targeted programmes like Zambia's Energy Demand Stimulation Initiative (ZEDSI) and Universal Energy Access Clusters; we help countries create self-sustaining energy ecosystems that accelerate access and drive economic development.
