CleanStart Connect 2013

Hosted by the UN Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), CleanStart Connect 2013 brings together leading energy and financial service providers, investors, policy makers and development partners to come up with practical ways to catalyse growth in the energy market serving low-income people. This new UNCDF forum focuses on the role of finance in building an ecosystem for energy businesses serving the “last mile” of the energy market to reach scale and impact. Part of the global SEforALL effort, UNCDF’s CleanStart programme is expanding access to clean energy among low-income households and micro-entrepreneurs through microfinance, centred on Asia and Africa.
