With over 150 countries represented, it is the world’s largest energy event covering all aspects of the energy agenda. Running since 1924, the triennial World Energy Congress enables dialogue amongst ministers, CEOs, policy-makers and industry practitioners on critical developments in the energy sector.

Rachel Kyte, SEforALL CEO and Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General will be a panelist at the opening plenary on The new people power: Driving change for sustainable energy and the plenary session on New models of leadership: Profit with purpose.

Under the theme Energy Security in the Age of Change: Empowering Responsible Growth in Asia and the World the 8th Asian Ministerial Energy Roundtable (AMER8) will be held alongside the World Energy Congress, building on the global energy dialogue and outcomes of the AMER7, the Katowice Climate Change Conference, the latest G20 Energy Ministers Meeting. Rachel Kyte will join a panel discussion on Advancing Inclusive Access to Secure, Affordable, and Sustainable Energy Services.
