Aligning Collective Action Towards Carbon-Free Energy in APAC
Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) is co-hosting a webinar with the Carbon-Free Alliance (CFA) on ‘Aligning Collective Action Towards Carbon-Free Energy in APAC'. This webinar will focus on sharing experiences and accelerating approaches towards decarbonization in the region.
Date: 22 July 2025
Time: 16:00–17:00 KST | 09:00–10:00 CEST

During the webinar, SEforALL will present the 24/7 CFE Compact Guidebook, a comprehensive framework building on extensive research and expertise from among the 24/7 Compact signatories. This guidebook was launched earlier this year to support current and future signatories on their journey towards 24/7 CFE, and establish a shared understanding of the principles of the Compact.
We will also hear perspectives from the work of Carbon-Free Alliance (CFA), a global coalition of government backers, energy providers and industrial energy users, on their efforts towards accelerating a carbon-free economy. CFA is also the Secretariat of the Clean Energy Ministerial's (CEM) Carbon Free Energy Initiative (CFEI), with an objective to enable sourcing CFE, advocate for the diffusion of CFE utilization and promote global partnerships.
The webinar will build momentum in the lead-up to CEM-16 and the World Clean Energy Conference (WCE), scheduled for August 2025 in Busan, reinforcing the region's leadership and commitment to carbon-free energy around the clock.
