"Leave no one behind" guides our approach. The shift to sustainable energy must be equitable and inclusive, ensuring that women and youth — who are often marginalized — are positioned to lead it.
The energy transition is not gender-neutral. Clean energy directly improves women's health, education and livelihoods while reducing unpaid domestic labor. Yet, women remain underrepresented as consumers, decision-makers and leaders, making up less than a third of the global renewable energy workforce.
We integrate equity into our work from project design to delivery. Our Gender and Youth programme provides the next generation of professionals with the specific training and mentorship required to advance their careers.
