SEforALL Newsletter - March 2019
Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) has commissioned new research to identify energy safety nets, based around social assistance programs, as part of its efforts to promote gender equality in energy access. This work is being undertaken by the People-Centered Accelerator, says Caroline McGregor, SEforALL’s Lead Specialist for Energy Access and Gender.
Nairobi-based ACCESS Coalition, a People-Centered Accelerator partner, is focusing on delivering last-mile energy solutions in sub-Saharan Africa. Women are “the most affected by a lack of access to energy,” says Jacqueline Kimeu, the organization’s international coordinator.
