Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) has a staff of passionate professionals working across teams located in our headquarters in Vienna, Austria and in our satellite offices in Washington, DC, and New York, United States.
With a strong focus on implementation, SEforALL has dedicated teams for each of our external programmes. These programmes are categorized under Data, Policy and Finance and include: Universal Integrated Energy Planning, Investment Grade Policies and Regulations, Energy Efficiency for Sustainable Development, Sustainable Cooling for All, Clean Cooking, Powering Healthcare, Results-Based Financing, Women at the Forefront and Energy Finance.
Team members bring expertise in different issues and areas relevant to energy access and the energy transition, including clean cooking, cooling and efficiency, energy planning, gender and energy finance.
Partnerships & Development
The Partnerships & Development team works to grow and diversify our funding base, drawing on government and philanthropic support as well as private sector event sponsorships.
SEforALL’s internal programmes are mission-critical to the success of the organization. Those programmes include: Operations; Human Resources; Communications; MEL, Data and Research; and the Executive Office.
The Communications team drives awareness and provides inspiration to SDG7 stakeholders by sharing key messages and disseminating the latest data and evidence. The team also helps keep energy for development top of mind for the international community through creative communications campaigns, traditional and social media, and impactful events such as the Sustainable Energy for All Forum.
Monitoring and Evaluation
Through an expanded Measurement, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Framework, the MEL, Data and Research team ensures SEforALL programmes link directly to SDG7 by focusing on clear indicators, monitoring of outcomes and social return on investment.
The HR team works to create compelling career journeys at SEforALL and to secure the expertise required, diversify and develop the skill sets needed to deliver on the new strategic direction.
The Operations team provides administrative, financial, procurement and travel support to SEforALL to ensure a smooth and efficient functioning of the organization and support for the implementation of all programmes.
The Executive Office team provides support for the CEO’s role as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Sustainable Energy for All and co-chair of UN-Energy. The team also covers Governance and supports the SEforALL Governance Board and the Funders’ Council.
