#1 Shaping Industrial Policies to Catalyze Domestic Renewable Energy Manufacturing: Opportunities for the Global South and Emerging Lessons

The webinar will bring together experiences from the Global South on how industrial policies are shaping the development of domestic renewable energy manufacturing sectors with a view to increase local value creation and create jobs. It will showcase successes with localization of value chains, as well as bring to fore learnings from ongoing national programmes and initiatives. This webinar is the first in a series of South-South Virtual Policy Dialogues being organized under the Africa Renewable Energy Manufacturing Initiative with the aim of facilitating dialogue and exchange among policymakers, investment promotion agencies, think tanks and industry associations on best practices and lessons in industrial policy design to support domestic renewable energy manufacturing.
